TAC: Treatment Action Campaign en inglés

The Treatment Action Campaign was founded on 10 December 1998 in Cape Town, South Africa. We campaign for treatment for people with HIV and to reduce new HIV infections. Our efforts have resulted in many life-saving interventions, including the implementation of country-wide mother-to-child transmission prevention and antiretroviral treatment programmes.

The TAC also runs a treatment literacy campaign: this is a training programme on the science of HIV treatment and prevention.

UNIFEM : Gender and AIDS en inglés

UNIFEM, in collaboration with UNAIDS, has developed this comprehensive gender and HIV/AIDS web portal to provide up-to-date information on the gender dimensions of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The site aims to promote understanding, knowledge sharing, and action on HIV/AIDS as a gender and human rights issue.

Youthnet / Family Health International

YouthNet es un programa global para mejorar la salud reproductiva y prevenir la propagación de la infección por el VIH/SIDA en las personas de 10 a 24 años de edad. YouthNet trabaja para mejorar y fortalecer los programas de jóvenes, los servicios y la política, realizar investigación y difundir y promover información, herramientas y enfoques basados en pruebas que abordan la Salud Reproductiva y la prevención de la infección por el VIH/SIDA para los jóvenes a nivel nacional, regional e internacional.
