From 9-11 December 2003, the IBE in collaboration with the German Development Cooperation (GTZ) organized an experts’ seminar in Geneva on the theme “Determining Good Practice in Education for Learning to Live Together”. The purpose of the meeting was to examine the concept of good practice at school level in the broad and complex curricular area of learning to live together, through a focus on the assessment and evaluation of such initiatives, and to discuss ways of improving the reporting on such practices, notably through the IBE’s databank RelatED. The meeting brought together participants from thirteen countries representing diverse national institutions, with a number of international institutions also represented.
