国际教育大会

国际教育局自1934年起组织国际教育会议，其宗旨为向各国教育部长提供可以进行对话的论坛。除各国教育部长外，其他合作伙伴，包括研究人员、实践者、政府间组织及非政府组织代表都积极参与到对话中。虽然国际教育大会是政府间会议，但是大会对涉及相关课题的各界人士而开放。

国际教育大会的主题由国际教育局理事会提交并通过联合国教科文组织大会审核。除按大会惯例召开的全体会议，主场辩论会等，其它会议、圆桌讨论及专题展览也同时召开。在大会以前，与会教育部长应邀就大会论题发出简短“致词”。2004年，青年代表也被邀请致词，以供大会讨论。
