The multimedia project BRIDGE on good practices was created as a short-term project for the IBE's 46th ICE. Its goal was to prepare multimedia products for presentation to the participants in the ICE. Following the 46th ICE, BRIDGE-good practices were integrated into the IBE's database on innovations and good practices. The audiovisual production of IBE has continued since then to endorse the name BRIDGE.

TV Programme: "Demain l'éducation" produced during the 46th ICE (Eng/Fra) (45 et 26´)
A double-TV programme for a large public, produced during the 46th ICE, 5-8 september 2001, with the local TV channel: Léman Bleu TV SA, Geneva.
This programme has put together, in a round table on the themes of the ICE (especially new technologies, citizenship, cultural diversity and violence), ministers and high-level administrators of education systems of all the continents (Nigeria, Jordan, Colombia, Philippines, Lituania and Switzerland) the UNESCO-Director for the Education Sector, Mr. John Daniels, Ms. Cecilia Braslavsky, Director of IBE, as well as Mr. Eli Jouen, representative of L'Internationale de l'Education and Mr. François Audigier from the University of Geneva.
The two programmes (45' and 26') were shown many times on the local TV channels in Switzerland, and many TV channels from other countries asked for the permission to use this production in their own programmes, especially those with a representative of their country participating in the pannel".
"School HIV/AIDS Prevention in Rio de Janeiro"
Two videotapes were produced for showing during the II International Youth and Adult Education Telecongress, August 14-16, 2002, Education and Diversity: learning how to live together Telecongresso. The themes of these videotapes were: the prevention of AIDS in schools in Rio de Janeiro; and constructing partnerships to combat illiteracy, sponsored by Alfabetizacão Solidária, which had received the Comenius Medal during the ICE.
- A. "School HIV/AIDS Prevention in Rio de Janeiro - Brasil" (12') tells the story of a secondary school teacher in Saquarema (State of Rio), teaching about HIV/AIDS in his classroom.

It presents an experience with comics designed to prevent violence at secondary school. The video features the work carried out with two groups of 7th grade students in the village of Chateau d'Oex, Pays-d'en-Haut, Vaud, Switzerland. - 2. Fortaleza, Ceára. Brasil. "A Second Chance… Alfabetização Solidária" (7´)
Many young people and adults of Brazil can now learn to read and write thanks to the programme Alfabetização Solidária. This NGO, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, offers basic literacy programmes in some rural zones of Brazil, especially in the north-east region. Awarded the Comenius Medal by the IBE in 2001, the programme is here shown through the experience of Claudio, a teenager living in a slum in the suburb of Fortaleza.
