Regional Seminar on Drafting new curricula in South-East Europe

The importance of curricular renewal as the crux of educational reform has been highlighted in the thematic reviews of education conducted by the OECD in 2000-2001. These reviews also highlight how curriculum review and reform in the region have been delayed in a number of contexts affected by violent conflict associated with the break-up of the former Yugoslavia.
