Details

As of today, the Latin America and the Caribbean diploma has trained 221 experts from 41 countries worldwide, with a 98% of satisfaction. The diploma combines a two-week face-to-face session – comprising workshops, roundtables, school visits and conferences animated by distinguished international and national experts – and online learning sessions and activities over a period of nine months.  The IBE-UNESCO diploma is mainly addressed to policymakers, planners, curriculum designers and developers, educators, principals, supervisors, teacher trainers, teachers and researchers. The Diploma represents a crucial and unique opportunity for reframing visions of curriculum, education and even of society within Education 2030 and Sustainable Development Goal 4 both geared towards “ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all”.

This initiative is being supported and implemented by the International Bureau of Education, the Catholic University of Uruguay (UCU), and the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (UNESCO/OREALC). It is made possible due to the generous support of the Norway commission and UNESCO-Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Prize for Outstanding Practice and Performance in Enhancing the Effectiveness of Teachers.
