Reform of General Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Mrs. Dakmara Georgescu, IBE-UNESCO programme coordinator was invited to assist the working groups 2 and 3 of the project (curriculum development for primary and secondary education) in revising and improving the drafted model of a modern curriculum framework for BiH that the group members developed after the first project workshop in Neum (17-19 May 2004).

 

Mrs. Georgescu also gave a presentation on possible templates of modern syllabuses that meet the needs and possibilities of improving teaching and learning in BiH based on valuable local and international practices. She also helped the team with regard the overall project planning for the coming months until the end of 2004, and made suggestions for the efficient completion of tasks by the two curriculum groups.

 

This was the second seminar for the two curriculum working groups (primary and secondary education).
