Prospects is UNESCO’s quarterly review of comparative education including viewpoints, articles and trends/cases. Examples of the articles found in this issue are: future scenarios for education: a window to the unknown; civic knowledge, beliefs about democratic institutions and civic engagement among 14-year-olds; exploring humanitarian law: armed conflict and education for social cohesion, and education for the promotion of social cohesion and a culture of non-violence.
