The meeting aimed to make participants aware of cross country concerns about curriculum development, introduce them to updated methodologies of curriculum design and implementation and start a dialogue on possibilities for regional cooperation in the field of curriculum change. Following the seminar, a draft proposal for setting up a network for the management of curriculum change in Asia was prepared and circulated to participating countries for their feedback and input. Apart from India's efforts to establish a National Consortium for the Management of Curriculum Change, countries did not respond to this proposal and it was decided to pursue networking activities in a more informal manner.
