Textbooks and Quality Learning for all: Some Lessons Learned from International Experiences

What can be said about textbooks after (almost) everything bas been said by now?
The book attempts to present a fresh view on issues that might be seen as (nearly) worn out in international literature on textbooks, issues that do not appear less important in a rapidly expanding digital era.
This volume was published as a tribute to Cecilia Braslavsky, IBE Director until June 2005, who was a strong believer in textbooks especially as a tool to provide quality education for all, in particular the most deprived ones.
