The UNESCO HIV and AIDS Education Clearinghouse

The HIV and AIDS Education Clearinghouse is a knowledge-sharing initiative with contributions from external partners. It provides access, on a single platform, to over 4,000 resources on HIV and AIDS and education from UNESCO offices and institutes.


The UNESCO HIV and AIDS Education Clearinghouse is currently managed and maintained by the International Bureau of Education (IBE), the International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP), and the UNESCO Offices of Bangkok, Dakar, Harare, Nairobi and Santiago.

 

 

 

Team Award Winner: UNESCO HIV and AIDS Education Clearinghouse

 

The HIV & AIDS Education team working on the creation of the common platform for the UNESCO HIV and AIDS Education Clearinghouse, including IIEP, IBE, and the UNESCO Offices Bangkok, Nairobi, Harare, Dakar and Santiago, won the team award for the creation of the new HIV and AIDS Clearinghouse.

 

The “Creation of a common platform for the UNESCO HIV and AIDS Education Clearinghouse” was one of 44 projects submitted in 2009 across UNESCO from which nine were selected for award. The project has been selected as a winner in the category “Knowledge Management”.
