Mr Mohammed Bouassami was born on 07 February 1958 in Rabat, Morocco. He is the Head of Administration of the IBE-UNESCO since June 2004.
Prior to joining the IBE, Mr Bouassami was Chief Administrative Officer for the office of the United Nations Development Program in Morocco. From January 1990 until December 2002, he was Program Officer of the United Nations Development Program in Morocco. Prior to that, from January 1986 until December 1989, he worked at a Private Bank in Casablanca, Morocco.
Mr Bouassami holds a Doctorate degree in 3rd cycle econometrics and mathematical economics from the University of Paris I (Panthéon Sorbonne).
