The texts of the Recommendations listed below and adopted between 1934 and 1992 by the International Conference on Education - ICE (until 1970, the International Conference on Public Education) were compiled and published at the suggestion of the Council of the IBE. In 1994, the ICE did not adopt a Recommendation. Instead, it produced a Declaration and an Integrated Framework of Action. In 1996, the ICE adopted a Declaration and nine Recommendations.
