Details

National Reports on the educational systems of different countries have been made available for the International Conference on Education (ICE).
These reports are one of the main sources for comparing educational data across countries and over time, and a useful tool for the exchange of information and experience in the field of education. This unique collection has been exploited over decades by researchers and scholars worldwide in a wide range of studies and trend analyses. In fact, since the 1930s countries have presented a National Report at each session of the ICE. A total of 68 National Reports have already been submitted for the 2008 session of the ICE (Geneva, 25-28 November). New reports are being received and posted to the Conference website regularly. The ICE is a major international forum for education policy dialogue among Ministers of Education and other stakeholders (researchers, practitioners, representatives of intergovernmental organizations and civil society).
