In order to better support education in emergencies, INEE initiated in 2009 the development of several new capacity building and planning Tools for the usage of a wide range of education agents working in both formal and non-formal settings. The Tools were developed based on broad consultations the world over with relevant partners and education stakeholders. During June 2010, INEE proceeds with a virtual launch of four such new Tools, as follows:
IBE contributed to the development of the INEE Guidance Notes on Teaching and Learning and hosted also a review workshop of different draft Tools last October. Potential beneficiaries are encouraged to visit INEE’s website, download the materials and share them with interested individuals and groups/networks. Hard copies will be equally soon available. During the next months, INEE, in cooperation with different partners, will carry out launches of the Tools across the world. For more information:
