His Excellency, Mr. Raúl Vallejo Corral, the Minister of Education of Ecuador was elected President of the Council.
The 56th session of the Council was attended by the Ministers of Education of Cameroon, Ecuador, Mali and Latvia; as well as by high level officials from the ministries of education of several countries.
