Preparatory conferences and workshops for the 48th session of the International Conference on Education (25-28 November 2008, Geneva) have been held around the world.
The 9 workshops and 4 conferences included over 900 participants from 128 countries. The global reach of these preparatory events is fitting for the conference entitled “Inclusive Education: The Way of the Future ”. The International Conference on Education is a major international forum for education policy dialogue among Ministers of Education and other stakeholders (researchers, practitioners, representatives of intergovernmental organizations and civil society).
