
Yaoundé, Cameroon - 17 to 18 September 2008 Preparatory Conference of the African region for the 48th session of the International Conference on Education (25-28 November 2008, Geneva). This Conference, entitled “Inclusive Education: Major Issues and Priorities in Africa”, will have for objective to reach a common and shared vision of Africa with regards to inclusive education. This conference, jointly organized by the Ministry of basic education of Cameroon and the UNESCO’s International Bureau of Education (IBE), will take place over two days and include keynote speeches, regional and international expert presentations, and debriefing of parallel discussions with representatives from the Ministries of Education of the African Region on Inclusive Education.
