We are delighted to announce a second call for case studies for the 2011 edition of the IBE Training Tools for Curriculum Development – a Resource Pack (TTCD). If you would like to participate, please send us a 1-page submission of interest by 15 April 2011. The TTCD was developed in 2003 as a joint initiative by UNESCO Bangkok and the International Bureau of Education. Since its inception, this Training Tool has been continuously enhanced to develop the capacity of individual and collective education specialists for decision-making, management, and operational roles related to curriculum policy design, development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and research. The TTCD aims to be used flexibly in a wide range of contexts. To keep abreast of current curricular trends, the TTCD is reviewed annually to maintain its worldwide accessibility as diverse and interesting set of cases to be analysed by the users of the resource. Your contributions will be reviewed to be adapted to a common design and returned for your approval before the actual inclusion in the TTCD. Authors will be acknowledged for their written contributions. Please see the guidelines below to help you formulate your contribution. To guide you in choosing the kind of material we are requesting, the Resource Pack is online for your review in English and Spanish, including a sample case study. Cases may be submitted in English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Russian and Arabic.
