Montevideo, Uruguay, 10-21st August 2009 From the 10th to the 21st of August, 2009, the IBE’s Training Tool for Curriculum Development will be the basis for a training course on curriculum development for teachers with experience in curriculum design, pedagogical coordinators, students and schools in general to those interested in analysing and improving the curriculum. Organised by the Catholic University of Uruguay (UCU), the course aims to help develop capacity and skills through analysis and reflection of the various components of curriculum development. This will be achieved using the IBE’s curriculum tool. This tool, structured around eight modules, consists of a conceptual framework, a series of activities and more than 100 case studies of curricula across the world. For more information:
