International Bureau of Education

A critical component for achieving quality Education for All is the solid foundation provided by an appropriate curriculum. Currently, IBE activities focus on the following curricular themes:  Curriculum Development, Inclusive Education, Learning to Live Together, and Skills for Life. 

Within its field of specialization, the IBE contributes to the work of UNESCO related to special themes such as Education for Sustainable Development, Gender Equality,   HIV and AIDS, and Post-Conflict and Post-Disaster Responses.
