Inclusive Education in Latin America: Identifying and Analyzing Progress and Pending Challenges

These are some of the main topics that will be discussed during the occasion of the Regional Meeting “Implementation of Inclusive Education Policies in Latin America: Progress and Pending Challenges”, being organized on 18-20 November 2009 in Santiago, Chile. This event will also serve to discuss the implementation of the Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities across the region.
The meeting is organized by UNESCO through its Education Sector in Paris, the Regional Bureau for Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (OREALC) and the International Bureau of Education (IBE), in partnership with the “Education for All (EFA) Flagship on the Right to Education for Persons with Disabilities: Towards Inclusion”.
