72nd Session of the Council of the UNESCO International Bureau of Education

The Council of the UNESCO International Bureau of Education held its 72nd session on 19 and 20 December 2022 in Geneva. The Council approved the IBE Activity Report 2022 and the IBE Work Plan and budget for 2023.

The Council holds a regular session at least once every year. The role of the Council is to approve the IBE's draft general programme and budget for submission to the UNESCO General Conference and ensure the consistency and complementarity of planned activities with the strategy of the Education Sector of UNESCO.
