A process of tailoring education to learners’ current situation, characteristics, and needs in order to help learners to achieve the best possible learning progress and outcomes. Personalized learning can appear on different levels of education, including personalizing the curriculum, courses, learning materials and activities, and other learning support. Through personalized learning, each learner is provided with education that is tailored to his/her individual characteristics and needs and learns in a way that is most suitable for him/her, resulting in different learning experiences for each learner.
